SPECIAL MESH TO WARN PROTECT & DETECT YOUR PIPES (AND OTHER SERVICES)

Type 050:- High strength rot resistant coloured plastic mesh manufactured from high strength coloured homopolymer polypropylene plastic mesh, incorporating up to two stainless steel tracer wires in sinusoidal form for detection purposes and overprinted on one side in black with a warning text. Mesh manufactured to EN 12613: 2009
Minimum 0.5mm diameter stainless steel 304 grade wires Tensile Strength 150kg per 200mm width
Elongation at break 12% Supplied bagged for protection
Side flanges available on request.

Length 100~250m per roll (other lengths on request)

To make a continuous signal along the mesh it is important to use our wire crimps and crimping tool. This gives a join with sufficient strength to cope with most back fills. If it is not installed correctly the signal may pass from join to join.

SIGMA Underground warning tape

SIGMA`s Underground warning tape is a coloured polyethylene underground marker tape with a printed warning message for marking underground buried services (electric cables, fiber optic cables, water pipes, gas pipelines). Sigma`s underground warning marker tape is an economical way of warning excavators of buried pipes and cables below ground. Sigma`s underground warning tapes can be manufactured with any text, in any language, any colour and size manufactured to your specification.

• Premium 100 microns and Economy 50micron grades available
• Material – Linear low density polyethylene
• Lead free pigments with virgin grade film
• Soil tolerance from pH 2.5 to pH 11.0 inclusive
• 100 micron grade is manufactured in accordance with ENATS 12-23 specification
• Special manufacture available
• Various thickness of material available from 23micron to 150micron

We also supply marker plates, marker posts and identification blocks to identify buried cables, fire hydrants and water valves etc.
