Flue Gas Analysis

The continuing increase in all kinds of combustion is contaminating the environment with greater concentrations of pollutants. Acid rain, smog formation, and the growing number of allergies are some of the consequences of this increasing contamination. Pollutants in flue gas can be reduced only if existing plants, boilers & burners operate as efficiently as possible or noxious boilers are shut down.

Flue gas analysis offers a means of determining pollutant concentrations.

We offer a comprehensive range of portable instruments for the Industrial and Heating markets. There is a flue-gas analyser for any heating  and emissions application.

  •     Combustion Analysers
  •     Manometers
  •     Flue-gas spillage (CO) detectors
  •     Gas leak testers

THE NEW MODEL 340 - FOR EFFICIENT ADJUSTMENT OF THERMAL SYSTEMS

Increasing fuel costs are spotlighting efficiency monitoring in thermal systems by means of emission measurements more and more. We now introduce a 4-sensor instrument onto the market, with which emission measurement will be easier, faster and more flexible in the future. The  340 can be operated with one hand, offering optimum handling for spot measurements, for example on burners or industrial engines.

The flue gas analyzer  340 has a measuring range extension. It allows the user to carry out unrestricted measurements even at high gas concentrations.
The measuring instrument is fitted with an O2 measuring cell as standard. Three further toxic sensors (e. g. CO, COlow, NO, NOlow, NO2  or SO2) can be individually configured at any time, in order to adapt the  340 optimally to the respective measurement task. The sensor can be exchanged directly by the user, minimizing service times.
The integrated rubber skin of the instrument housing protects the instrument from impact in rough day-to-day use.
The new flue gas analyzer from  is designed for commissioning, service and maintenance work as well as monitoring measurements on:

- Industrial burners
- Stationary industrial engines
- Gas turbines
- Thermal process systems

Best support in flue gas analysis

You  have flexibility and can decide which parameters to measure depending on the measurement requirements of the system.
The 340 is equipped with an O2-Sensor as standard.
Three slots are available to you for different gas measurement parameters. This means you can select freely from CO, COlow, NOlow, NO2 or SO2. You need no additional sensors for different - measuring ranges – that lowers costs!

Technical data
Automatic measuring range extension

The measuring ranges of your CO-, COlow-, NO-, NO2- or SO2-sensor is increased 5 times by automatic measuring range extension.  At high gas concentrations the sensor is then not stressed any more than it would be at low concentrations. As an option, the measuring ranges of all the sensors in the analyzer can be extended simultaneously by a factor of 2.

You save time, as the automatic sensor protection allows you to carry out unrestricted measurements. In order to protect the sensor, the measuring range extension (dilution) is automatically activated at unexpectedly high gas concentrations.

Flue gas analyser model 310

Model 310 has two measurement cells for O2 and CO, and a temperature sensor integrated into the flue gas probe. The gas sensors measure the exact oxygen and carbon monoxide content as well as the flue gas and ambient temperature. From these data, all relevant measurement parameters such as CO2 value, degree of effectivity and flue gas loss are calculated. The instrument stands out thanks to its easy handling and menu-guided security. You can read off the measurement values confidently and conveniently from the well-lit display, even in bad light conditions. The fuels are stored not just as numbers, but are each described. At the top edge of the clear display, the symbols for the different measurement menus are always in view. The display and the dirt-insensitive keypad are clearly structured. Operation is very easy – even if you only have one hand free.

A multi-function instrument for efficient flue gas analysis which solves with confidence every task on a heating system and is still convenient to use.
The new 320 fulfils all of these requirements, because that is exactly what it was developed for. The 320 has a high-resolution colour display which presents the measurement results graphically. It provides simple, self-explanatory measurement menus. The 320 is very robust, ergonomic, and at the same time aesthetically designed. It has two sensors for O2 and CO as well as a temperature probe integrated into the flue gas probe for the direct measurement of temperature, O2 and CO. Flue gas analyser model 330-1 LL for commercial boiler applications

Flue gas analyser 330-1LL with long-life cells, CO, CO2, NO, O2, Efficiency temperature. Flue gas ana lysis. Incl. rechargeable battery and calibration protocol.

The major advantage of flue gas analysers lie in their dialog feature: instrument diagnosis provides information about the qualitative status of functions at the touch of a button; for example, the level in a condensate trap but also wearing parts such as the condition of the gas sensors. Maintenance intervals are displayed allowing you to plan better. The times when an analyser let the user down all of a sudden are a thing of the past. Modular probes such as ΔT, ΔP, flue gas are recognised automatically by the analyser so that measurement results appear immediately in the display. The probes have a probe quick-release device with which all of the gas paths are connected without mix-ups. The single cable is rigid, indestructible, saves space and creates order. The particle filter is located directly in the probe's handle. Probe shafts with different lengths and diameters can be easily attached to the probe handle.

Probe and Hose Assemblies

Transporting flue or exhaust gases to the analyzer is not always easy. Issues such as sample reactivity, extreme temperatures, various stack dimensions and difficult access all go in to determining the type of probe required.

Our wide variety of probe and hose assemblies, coupled with rugged locking connecters, fulfill any testing scenario.

Probe Specifications:
• Standard stainless steel probes are available in 330 or 700mm lengths, with thermocouples

• Probe shafts are available in stainless steel for temperatures to 600°C and for temperatures to 1000°C

Standard flue gas sampling probe

The affordable standard sampling probe is available in lengths of 330mm and 700 mm and for different temperature ranges. The outershaft with filter is used for dusty flue gases. The selection of the right probe is critical for accurate and consistent measurements. Because the sampling locations are often different, it’s beneficial to have a standard probe designed for a wide variety ofapplications. In addition to the standard sampling probes, also offers probe systems for specific industrial applications.

The probe has to endure extreme conditions when measuring flue gases: • High temperatures

Corrosive condensate
Dust
Mechanical loads.
