:: SPX-DR ::

The newest member of the SPX family: the SPX-DR Dual Rate Meter. The meter can measure two different rate inputs as well as calculate and display the ratio, draw or difference of the rate inputs, can monitor mission-critical factors such as inflow and outflow, unwind and rewind wire tension, feed and tension roll speed, and other pivotal production rates without the need for any complex programming that would otherwise be required. The meter’s LED display has 0.56" digits, available in red sunlight readable or standard green. The display intensity is adjustable for low-level lighting conditions up to sunlight readable applications.

The SPX-DR is a 5-digit Dual Rate Indicator and 6-digit Dual Totalizer in a single meter. Two Rate and two Total displays are provided (A and B), along with two additional calculation displays (C) to show the Sum, Difference, Ratio, % of Total or Draw between A and B displays. Any of the six displays are viewable: A, B or C Rate and A, B or C Total. The meter has two signal inputs from which the Rate and Totalizer values are derived. For the Rate displays, up to 10 point scaling is provided for each input, to scale non-linear rate processes. Separate scaling is provided for both the A and B Totalizers. The independent scaling allows for Rate only, Totalizer only or combination Rate/Totalizer applications, with or without the calculation displays.

The capability of the SPX-DR can be easily expanded with the addition of field installable plug-in option cards. The SPX-DR accepts the same option cards as our other SPX meters. These cards provide setpoint control, communications and retransmitted analog output.

:: SPX-P :: The most popular panel meter

The PXP series display with integrated signal processor embodies many features and performance capabilities to suit a wide range of industrial applications. It is available in five different models to handle various analog inputs, including DC voltage/current, AC voltage/current, Temperature and Strain Gage inputs. The meter employs advanced technology for stable, drift free readout, while incorporating features that provide flexibility for both present and in the future with plug-in easy upgrade option cards.
The unit has two inputs, 0 to 20 (4 to 20) mA DC or 0 to 10 VDC, and a built-in 24 VDC supply to power remote transmitters. The PXP also incorporates a 16-point input scaling feature for compensation of non-linear processes. The signal totalizer (integrator) can be used to compute a time-input product. This can be used to provide a readout of totalized flow, calculate service intervals of motors and pumps, etc. The totalizer can also accumulate batch weighing operations.
The meter has been specifically designed for harsh industrial environments. With NEMA 4X/IP65 sealed bezel and extensive testing of noise effects to CE requirements, the meter provides a tough and reliable local readout.

Plug-in Card Options

These intelligent solutions can be enabled with optional plug-in cards, for set point alarms (2 or 4),analog output and communications (RS232, RS485, Modbus, Devinet, Profibus), enabled Ethernet via external module (ICM8). Each display can be fitted with up to three optional plug-in cards. However, only one card from each function type can be installed at a time. The function types include:
Four optional plug-in cards provide dual FORM-C relays (5 Amp), quad FORM-A relays (3 Amp) or either sinking or sourcing quad open collector logic outputs.
Plug-in cards also facilitate bus communications. These include RS232, RS485, USB, Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet.
A linear DC output signal is available as a plug-in card. This card provides either 20mA or 10V signals, and the output can be scaled independent of the input range.
Additionally, the display has features that allow a remote computer to directly control the outputs of the unit. This is useful during commissioning phases and diagnostic use. With a communication card installed, set-up software allows configuration from a PC. The configuration data can be saved to a file for later recall.

The PX2A is packed full of features that set it apart from other panel meters. The input, total, min., max. or setpoint value can be displayed on the 0.7" high 6-digit main LCD display. The main display also offers three programmable, easy-to-read colors: red, orange and green. The color change can be tied to the setpoints, providing the operator with a visual display of changing conditions in the application. A second display line is a 0.35" high, green LCD that can be programmed for any of the above parameters as well. This 9-digit display accommodates totalizing applications that easily exceed the normal 6-digit displays. In addition to the dual displays, the meter also includes a 3-character programmable unit indicator.

Beyond the display, the PX2A provides the maximum in configuration flexibility, allowing users to stock just one meter for numerous applications. Featuring universal input, the same meter accepts DC current, DC voltage, process signal, plus thermocouple and RTD temperature sensor inputs. The PX2A also has a wide range AC/DC power input.
With its dual display and versatile functionality, the PX2A delivers an ideal solution for applications that require two parameters to be visualized at the same time (e.g. present temperature and setpoint value or flow rate and total gallons).
The setup software allows quick and easy configuration of the meter from any PC, using the supplied USB cable.

This graphical panel meter, PM-50, expands our existing award-winning panel meter portfolio. The PM-50 is available as a 3.5-inch or 4.3-inch graphical touchscreen display. Using simple “swipe” technology, users can easily switch between relevant screens and receive comprehensive operational data for monitoring equipment and production. Visual alerts notify the user that immediate action is necessary, either on the unit itself or via PM-50 app, available on Google Play or Apple Store.

Today’s manufacturing environment is changing quickly and there is a greater need for data visibility, connectivity, and collection. So, when developing this next generation panel meter, the developing team challenged themselves to create a product that would help solve these challenges and allow manufacturers to take additional steps in creating a smarter factory floor. The PM-50 is easy to install, program, and expand. The PM-50 can replace a meter with a 1/8 or 1/16 DIN panel cut out.
